The pond will be a little less than an acre, have 3 pennisula's, several rock piles in deep and shallow water, a 6' deep x 10' wide ledge with scattered rock and the entire shoreline will have 4" natural rock riprap 2' underwaterline and 6' under water on pennisula's. My plan is to stock 1000 papershell's this fall, 7lbs of FHM, 8lbs of GS and 5lbs of brood stock GS, 50 6" - 8" YP (pellet trained) and 25 RES 2" - 3", 25 3" - 4" RES early spring (before spawn). I will then stock 60 4" - 6" pellet trained SMB, 125 pellet trained 3" - 4" YP, 50 4" - 6" pellet trained YP and 10 pellet trained 5" - 7" HSB early next fall and I plan to pellet feed until the water is around 60. Do you think this is a solid plan? I want a good solid SMB pond with solid numbers and size. I will add aeration sometime next year with two airstations; one in max depth 10' - 12' and one in shallow end 5'.
