I ended up using a package of Dutch Boy Anti-skid additive in Dutch Boy Skid Resistant porch and floor latex satin enamel. 2 gallons covered the 8x24 dock very well (with some left over) and the extra anti-skid additive added a great no-slip texture and it's gentle on bare feet. I didn't know how skid-resistant the paint itself would be but the way it turned out I'm very glad I included the additional additive. So thanks for the tip on the skid-resistant additive!

I didn't want to go too light or too dark, but I can attest that the dock does NOT look like the color-chip I selected shocked

Now if I had any artistic abilities at all I would figure out a way to have the Pond Boss logo fill that dock! (if that's allowed)
