Zep, Thank you for reminding everyone to be aware of their surroundings. Sometimes bikes and bicycles are hard to see. Also thanks for posting the pictures (that makes me at least more aware).
Hope you and the driver are doing alright. Thats a tough situation for both of you two to be in.
