Small pond, I don't think that you'll damage the fishing or the feeding by using what you're using. I was just saying that at some point they may become more conditioned, so you probably want to mix it up often in order to avoid a pattern. Great suggestion to try actual trout flies. I caught a lot of native brook trout as a kid just using a worm without a bobber on an ultralight rig by flipping the worm where I wanted it to go. Lots of ways to catch trout, so just use a variety.
