Back in the 80's, I owned (absentee) a little motel on the Gulf of the FL panhandle. Twice (within about 8 months) during the 10 years that I owned it, it got gutted by hurricanes. The entire contents of all rooms were destroyed, but the structures were ok. I couldn't get regular insurance, but got some thru the Government - I think the carrier was Siebles -Bruce. Don't know if they are still around or not, but they treated me fairly...
