You might be surprised on how adaptable your pond fish are to the brackish water. Of course it depends on how much salt is in it but I have read that yellow perch and largemouth bass can be found in the brackish water of tidal basins.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
