The invasives that CJ is talking about is the yellow and white ones that you typically in the local lakes. They can over run a pond in a very short amount of time. It's better to stock hardy HYBRID lilies. Search here, there's been numerous posts on where to source them. See this from the Question & Answer Archives for a good start on your homework:
