My pond is 3/4 of an acre and about 8 ft. deep. I have a brand new aeration system, 1/4 hp with 2 diffusers. Bought from Stoney Creek. They recommended that I run it 2 hrs. in the morning and then again in the evening for 2 hrs., which is what I am doing. They said stick to this schedule for about 2 weeeks and then increase slowly to continuously. They said this was not a hard and fast rule, just a suggestion. Does anyone have any other ideas? I would like to run it as often as I can without doing any damage to the pond and the bass and bluegill. I have also posted some more info on my pond under the topic brown water and ammonia. Thanks
