It is times like this that I truly understand and appreciate the wisdom of depth and volume. About 1/3 of the 5 ac surface area is 13 - 14' at normal pool. About 1/2 is 8' - 12' of varying topography, and the rest is the shallows of a seasonal wetland zone. I remember when we put all those tires and other junk down there. I really hoped and assumed that the only ones that would ever see it again lived below the surface. Not so, I guess.
Assuming that this drought will not last forever (cross my fingers), I think the waterborne creatures will survive. My biggest concern right now is how badly the cover and structure stuff will get beat at ice-in.
