Ain't the drum full of bones or something? I thought you couldn't just fillet them because of the bones? All I remember is my dad telling me when i was a kid was " that's a damn drum, full of bones and trash, throw it back" never even thought of keeping one since then lol
No bones. Solid fillets. This is why I consider them to be the most underrated freshwater fish that swims.
