I recently bought 12 acres that had this old pond on it. My wife says she remembers swimming and fishing in it many years ago. It's been neglected badly. I was told the neighbor upstream reconfigured his land and built a pond catching the spring that used to feed this one. Now all it gets is run-off and rain. It is 2/3 covered with lillies and has an oily residue around the edges. I would like to revitalize it if possible and know I have a long road ahead. I can't wait to use all of the resources I'm finding here on this forum. Thank all of you in advance!
