Yes Bruce, that is a prime example of a "hand painted" bluegill only found native to the Apalachicola River drainage in Florida. One can see how striking they are! I know American Sportfish in Alabama had been commercially breeding them but because of a lack of interest in them they may no longer have them available. If you live in an area where CNBG would do well, they would also be another "variety" of BG you could stock. From what I have read, they have similar growth rates and reach similar sizes as CNBG. They just look pretty darn cool! My cousin who goes to Uni of FL in Gainesville has caught them before. I'd like to make a trip down and catch some as well.
