My pond is located in south Ala. 17 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. We have average temps of70/42 with 62" of rain per year. My pond is 496'x196x240x360 and is 8 1/2 feet deep, 3 weeks ago you could drop a quarter in and see it on the bottom. Now it's green 10" from surface. All due to 200 lbs. of lime and a 24 lb. bucket of slow release fertilize that floats in the middle and lasts for 30 days.Today,I'm putting another 200 lbs. of lime in.
