On the other hand Tilapia and threadfin shad are okay to stock.

Stocking hybrid gills is a surefire method of getting green sunfish in a few years. Do a search, GSF don't make good bass food. Bluegills are still the best sunfish for bass food.

I'm actually looking at Smartfishfarm as well. I don't know which fishfarm the local hardware store deals with but I'd rather deal with a dedicated source not just a trucker. The only other fishfarm that I know of in KY is the Fish Truck. Jonesfish delivers to Ky too.

Surefire method? Really? I don't believe that a blanket statement such as this will apply to every situation. HBG have their place, and when properly managed will do quite well, and will NOT become GSF.

urup, congrats on the fish!!

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.
