Yes, they are quite noisy, but you can get used to it. When I would take a nap in the afternoon, would typically hear them screaming and still fell asleep. The worst thing about them typically is their stupidity. Typical barnyard birds will move out of the way quickly when vehicle is coming, but they'll just stand in the way. I've seen them get hit on highway before. If hit right, its actually quite pretty seeing on impact, like a cannon blasting out feathers.
