Shan, thanks for your reply. I purposely stocked that many because of various factors and looking a stocking plan that I had. We have a lot of predator birds around and the pond also has channel cats. I planned for bass mortality. The bass that are being caught are as I said 7 to 16 inches. Several in the 12 to 13 inch range. As I said the bass are healthy. I have a lot of forage all along the banks of the pond. I know I should have put the bluegills in first but had not found pondboss until after I stocked. The stocking plan I used didn't advise on intervals to stock only numbers. Really can't afford the shock treatment you suggest at this point so I will keep an eye on the fish caught and see how they progress. If I need to pull some out any suggestions on size to take out?
