Well they haven't quite made it all the way back north yet. I hunted my club around Braidwood, IL yesterday in the fog. Very few geese in the area but we did manage to get one. Only one week left in the season. The rain over night took care of the snow except of piles. This and colder weather should bring more geese to the Braidwood are that have move to the rivers that have opened up.
Insult to injury, I just had a flock of 12+ geese fly right past my front windown at about 15 yards. They love to tease me this way
