From what I have read, bentonite should continue to swell for up to 24 hours.
I figured that the trolling motor would turn fast enough and cause enough turbulence in a medium trash can to keep the bentonite from building up on the motor. Could be very wrong about that. I'll let you guys know how it works when I get a chance to try it out.
