I managed to remove fifty five pounds of catfish this weekend by removing only fourteen fish. My goal is to remove 200lbs total this summer. I also removed a turtle that weighed over eighteen pounds. Anyone know what kind of a turtle has a leathery shell and kind of point on its nose? He was not a snapping turtle. I am planning on getting some bigger rods. These lightweight rods were not meant for big catfish and turtles. I ended up breaking my favorite rod on a catfish that swam under the boat. I feel bad but I have just been throwing the catfish in the woods. Sorry for not having any pics I left my camera at home.
