Now, now Theo, the "hundred days of darkness" (more like 6 months) is primarily a wintertime thing in the Puget Sound area.

I also caught a whole bunch of these "bullheads" out of the Sound in addition to that sea run cutthroat.



Oh no they have Sea Robins in the Pacific too!

We have been catching a red version of that fish while drifting for Flounder on the Mid-Atlantic coast for years. Anymore we really should just call it trash collecting as we catch more of those then keeper fluke.

A skate, a dogfish and a sea robin or as my uncle Frank likes to call it the "Garbage Grand Slam"...
