I decided to get out and do some of my favorite laid back fishing this past evening. Tossing grass shrimp under a bobber for anything that'll bite. I took my boat out on the Potomac River. The ramp I launched from is at the end of the Reagan National Airport runway. Quite a sight having jets screaming over your head as you launch your boat. Anyways, I headed up river into the heart of Washington, DC waters. As usual, the grass shrimp didn't let me down and I caught a mixed bag of fish. Several redbreasted sunfish, a few bluegills, 1 small yellow perch, a couple largemouth bass, and three channel cats one of which was a hair over 6 pounds all caught on 2 pound test.
