I read recently that some of our "leaders" in Congress were contemplating a cow tax/permit, since cows are responsible for about 20%
of the methane gas that is released in the USA - this is according to the EPA. This amounts to about 2% of all the climate altering pollution in the US.
I'm not so sure that isn't an urban legend but I wouldn't doubt it either.
That's actually true. Gratefully, the tax was stricken from the bill.
Stranger still, termites produce far more methane than cows. I hope they don't start doing termite inspections so they can tax you.
