It also makes me cringe to see those monster CNBG in a cooler, but Lake Fairfield has an endless supply - it's legal so NOMB. I don't care for BG as table fare but wish I had those in my pond instead of a skillet.
Lake Fairfield is in my Freestone County backyard; a power plant lake that is coal fired resulting in warm water year round. Tilapia and salt water RedFish stocked many years along with Florida LMB.
Tilapia keeps the power plant screens clean as well as abundant forage for the predators.
