Time of year and ambient temperatures will have a big affecton survial rates. Cooler the water better the survival. In cool weather, I'm had fish survive well using even 2 day shipping.
Air freight can work good if you are near a large airport and can pick up the package when it arrives at the airport. It is important to not overcrowd fish or too big of fish into a box. Fewer and smaller per box ship better.
