What??!!??

Geeze Cecil. A perch that lives in water with lots of oxygen has red ears (gills), and is known as a red eared bluegill. When that same perch has an absence of oxygen, its gills turn blue, and it is known as a bluegilled perch! In between, especially those in waters with too much pollution, these same fish are known as yellow perch. Some perch have stripes down their sides, and they are known as tiger musky perch!
