Dwight's thread reminded me of a weird coincidence which I posted in his thread. However I don't want to butt into his thread so I thought I would start a new thread.

Share some weird coincidences that have happened in your life. Things that happened where the odds against them happening had to be very high.

Here's mine:

Years ago I dated a girl and her father's name was Louis Ketcham. The relationship ended. Anyway, years after that I organized a fishing trip for my dad and I to the north woods of Maine. I got lots of brochures and finally decided on a fly in trip to a camp and lake called Nahmachanta. After fishing one day we had dinner at the lodge and I noticed an old dated map of the area on the wall. With close inspection I noticed the words Louis Ketcham Lake Camp on the map. Turns out that was it's original name and the half Indian that started it. Not the same person of course.

What are the odds that I picked this resort?
