Will grass carp control water primrose if it is the only major vegetation in a pond? I want to keep it closer to shore since it is along 2/3rds of the shoreline, not eliminate it. It is tough fishing when it extends 5-6' from the accessible shore. The steep, inaccessible brushy shore does not have it. How many would I need for a triangular shaped 3 acre pond? Grass carp will eat water primrose, IF that is all they have to eat. They will become "feed trained"...
