Much easier to buy the fish ready to go. 8-11 inch is what we stock in exisintg bass pond. This is a size readily avail and surviival is good. I do not feel any time is better than another for catfish stocking. Up to 200/acre is feedging, harvest 85% by the time they reach 1.5 lbs. 50/acre if not feeding.
