Like Dwight, I'm also submitting to knives and needles but no saws. This Friday, 12/28, I'm having a hernia repaired in my gut. About 5 years ago, I had colon surgery to remove a big, non malignant, polyp. Evidently, I didn't adhere to the Doctors orders to not overdo it.

So, I get it fixed. No big deal and they are doing it as Outpatient but may keep me overnight. They will open me up and sew a piece of kevlar in there that looks kinda like window screen. The Doc says I can't pick up over 15 pounds for 3 months. This time, I'm going to pay attention and follow the Docs orders.

I timed it for the end of deer season and before fishing gets good.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP
