A few sunfish
I caught these a few days ago around some brush piles I installed this spring in 1-4 ft deep water. I'm not sure exactly what they are but to me they are "bluegill". Most of them I have caught my whole life look most like the first and last picture.

Those are pure strain bluegill; slight differences are those of male and female. 1st is a female, middle fish is a male, 3rd is probably an immature male that will fully mature in 2017.
