OTS CNBG

My son caught the little fella in his fish trap. I am very happy with the growth. I put 1800 of them in my pond 9 weeks ago from Todd. Optimal Feed 2x/day. Cant wait to see the spring/smmer growth. They were 2-2.5" when released. I didnt measre this one. Wanted him back in.

Im trying to follow in Flames footsteps.

Great start with super shaped CNBG. They should be trophy status in 4-5 yrs.

Mine were 8 inches in less than a year. Your location with feed should give similar results.

Chad, measure the width of the hand that was holding the fish. That will give you a rough idea of it's length. It looks like it's tail is overhanging roughly the amount of palm that is not covered by the nose of the fish.

Thanks for the comments guys. As suggested, I should be able to get a acurate measurement from my sons hand. Although he is growing like a weed. I did notice how they lost color. Is that due to water temp or a muddy pond? Attached is a picture when I released them.

Thanks,
Chad
