Those look like hybrid bluegills. Parental species will depend on what is in the pond. Hybrid bluegills (HBG) can vary in color pattern based on hybrid genetics and water clarity and spawn period (season). Note the large mouth compared to a similar sized pure strain BG.

I agree with Bill Cody the pair in the hands are most likely HBG. The kid with the stripped shirt could be holding a pure Green Sunfish. I don't see any BG in that photo.

Snakebite is correct the fish in photo with the boy in striped shirt is a big GSF. Notice the size of the mouth on that fish.

Thanks for the info guys. This pond is loaded with GSF. I just started feeding them with the kids and they are like piranhas. I was wondering what they eat to get that big? Do they eat there own or are they feeding on bass. I have only caught three bass one 12 inches and the other two were small

When GSF are overly abundant they tend to predominate the pond and can even control recruitment of bass and other species.

It can be hard to find pure GSF stock. Don't think those are pure but who knows the % GSF genes.

Two things jump out at me that show the GSF genetics. Look at the size of their mouths. Look at the margins of their pelvic and anal fins. See the colors?
