I love shooting cattails with a BB gun this time of year. They darn near explode.
Nothing against you John, you're a great type of artist. And I have friends that paint "off the wall" pics.

I'll try shooting the cattails with my BB gun that is just setting in my garage. When young, my buddies and I would pack our BB guns on our hiking trips. This sounds like a tall tail but it's true,,,one day I was walking across a field and a rabbit came running across in front of me. I fired my BB gun and the rabbit started flipping in the air. I thought this isn't possible and I looked at the dead rabbit and I had hit him in the eye which the BB must have entered his brain.

John, in my life, I've made a few shots like that. Yeah, I lied and said that's where I was aiming.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I did that with a grackle as a kid while on the wing, first shot right in the eye as it was tearing off from the feeder. My friends thought I was a BB gun GOD, but my only intention was to scare the birds from my parent's bird feeder. I felt horrible inside, but I accepted the praise.
Yes, I am not a hunter whatsoever, but I don't begrudge others. In fact I encourage it. I am just too much of an animal softy to hunt myself.
