Nice fish and nice growth!
What did you catch him on and how was the fight?
I stocked 100 6-8" HSB on Sept 1st so I'm very encouraged. I saw earlier posts that you fed them catfish pellets? I'm feeding AM 500 twice per day and they're growing fast but they're eating much less with the cold weather moving in.
If what you're showing is what I can expect next fall, I'm stoked! Can you imagine where yours will be then?
There's not many fish that can put up a better fight, but as they get bigger, because they expend so much energy in the fight, be sure to resucitate when releasing them.
