I have a small pond with timber, and trees suround it. Makes it nice on the warm days, with a breeze is great.

The only thing is you do tend to get hung up a bit, but I guess that is just the way it goes some times.

I just like to be out to enjoy the place, so a few losts hooks are worth it to me.

Thanks

I am starting to feel old. When one of our family ponds was built, we left lots of standing timber in it. About 85% of it has fallen and all that remains is stumps. That pond had a lot of character and a lot of LMB. Due to the drought, the pond has been reduced from 1.2 acre down to about 1/2 acre. I'm very tempted to go "clean up" the shallow end, but it would be sad to see the stumps gone.
