Before and after pictures of my pond
I described my tiny pond in several posts and some of what I did to get it to hold water. I think most of the details of what I did to fix this are described in the soil section in a topic called an easy way to fix some leaks. (In the end it wasn't so easy but it did seem to work )
This first picture was taken in Late January at what should be the wettest time of the year, and when every small hole in my yard is full of water and won't drain. The pond should have been full to overflowing, but was a good 2 feet down.
The after picture of me swimming in cool clear water is taken in late August of this year, at what is the driest time of the year. As the pond is also used to water my garden I am very pleased with the improvement.

For a second I thought it was a post on how to deal with trespassers.

Looks like you offed some dude in your pond and forgot to get him out of there!!! Oh no did I accidentally post that picture? LOL The pond is too tiny to do big swimming motions, so I use a kids blow up plastic ring under my tummy to keep me afloat. I felt a bit self conscious sharing pictures of me swimming in my underwear, and as a compromise I blotted out my head. In the original picture, my head is held up in a way you can see I am clearly not dead, but now you point it out, I can see that without this clue, the unnatural buoyancy might look a little alarming to people who had not seen the original picture or read the explanation. Thanks for the chuckle.

How many times to I have to tell you, it's not my underwear, it's a Brazilian Cut Neoprene Cod Piece.
Jeez why do I have to keep explaining this?
You'd think you guys had never seen a Brazilian Cut Neoprene Cod Piece before.
