I want to thank TJ for all the help he offers and gives everyone here on the forum! When ever I see someone make a post about a leaking pond, I see a post from TJ offering to help! I talked to him the first time over a year ago and he was in no hurry to spend my money, and told me to give it more time. Which I did, and it got better. Being unhappy with how well my pond is doing again, I reached out to him again, and I think he spent around 1.5 hours on the phone with me the other day, and again he was in no hurry to spend my money. I'm hoping just talking to him will scare my pond into doing better.lol! But if not, it is good to know TJ is there to help! THANKS TJ!

I second what you just wrote, Bob. My experiences parallel yours. TJ is certainly a generous man. Roger

Thank you for the kind words guys. I owe the forum a debt of gratitude I’ll never repay fully so it’s my pleasure meeting new friends and hopefully helping resolve some pond management issues. I’m here for anyone anytime!

Bobbss, no, I haven't use SoilFloc yet. As the upper half of my pond water disappears much more quickly than the lower half, I'd assumed I could apply the polymer strategically to the top half, thereby saving some time and money. TJ advised me to consider other options before simply pouring in the SoilFloc. Then after getting a bit more knowledge about what was happening to my water, he suggested I could make a more informed decision about using the sealant. It's possibly time to drain, dig out muck and silt, raise the dam a little, remove some trees on the dam, kill all the muskrats, etc. Or, simply live with a rather productive BOW as is. We think the pond is very beautiful as it is, and I can't complain about the fish it produces.

Thanks Roger, I'll be happy with mine if I can get it to fill up and stay at least full enough to not give me to much trouble.
