So my dad has decided to remove the fountain from his pond. It was there when he bought the place 10 years ago. I dont know what size motor it has on it but it has a square float that is probably 30 to 36" wide with 4 halogen lights on it and the pump is a 220v pump. Everything works on it and he runs it for half an hour twice a day on a timer. I plan on putting it on craigslist for him but I have no idea what this thing cost or what it is worth. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this is not allowed here and please delete if it is not but I am truly just trying to figure out what its worth not sell it here.

Thanks,
Matt

If it comes with the wiring and timer, I'd consider those two to be worth at least a couple hundred bucks. Try to price a current, similar fountain online, and start at roughly 40% of new as your starting price, and 50% of new for the wiring and timer, if included.

Yeah it will include the timer and the wiring that is in the pond. I plan to cut the wires at the bank line. Not worth it to try and get the wires back out of 50 foot worth of trench. So probably 100 foot of wire and the timer if I had to guess. Guess I will try to find a similar fountain online and go from there.

Holy cow I never realized how expensive these things are... Looks like a similar new one is over 2k.
