Small world, power of the internet or whatever you want to call it, this is pretty amazing to me. What are the chances that basically two previous owners of this cabin converge in this forum?
I would love to hear more stories about this place and adventures had there. After many many years we just recently made a winter trip to our place. It's at 10,000' so not as high, but what an amazing trip! I would love to do some extreme snow shoeing like you mention and plan on it once we get moved out there.
Zep - I guess it just didn't hit me when you first mentioned your brother having a propane fridge up there because I was in shock that you had that connection to this cabin. The propane tanks in that pic just put it right in my face though. I CAN"T BELIEVE you guys got a propane truck to deliver up there!!
ColoradoCabin - I have to ask..... what made you sell the place?

wbuffetjr....yes I was a bit shocked when I saw ColoradoCabin's post pop up on this old thread. The internet is pretty amazing. I don't know how my brother did some of the stuff he did...lol. I hate that he didn't live to see the cabins in Wills Point finished and I think of him every day I spend there.

Zep I can totally relate. My father in law was more like my dad and him and I had hundreds of conversations about the lake at our place, all the potential it had and what we could do to it. I, too, regret that my father in law never got to see a single improvement we have done to the place he built and think of him every single day I am there.
