Yes, that is a capped drainpipe of my newly renovated 2 acre pond.
After 18 months of waiting and 2 months of having dirt pushed around my contractor dropped off the cap and I put it on. Woo hoo!!!! I plugged it up and stared at it for a while. Water level didn't move much in those few minutes
but I'm hopeful it will fill.
While I was there I added some 2x6 supports for the dock posts to give it more stability just in case. I figured it was cheap, easy insurance while there was still no water.
If I can get some water in there over the next few weeks I'll be putting some fatheads in.
A sincere thank you to everyone on this message board and to Mr. Lusk for his magazine and books. I honestly feel that my chance of success with this project was greatly enhanced by ALL of your experiences, opinions, ideas, suggestions and advice.
