Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations A BIG thankyou to the moderators

This is probably the best managed forum on the Internet.

Like many others here, I participate in several other Internet forums. The other forums always have lots of great advice, and lots of great people. But, none of the other forums have moderators like Pond Boss.

I felt welcome the first time I posted.

The PB moderators are identified -- not hidden behind some firewall without a name. All are very knowledgeable and active. All are courteous. But, by far, the best thing is that the PB moderators keep the occasional insults and potential flare-ups well under control -- in very short order, and tactfully. That, by itself, makes this a very unique site.

With the addition of one more well respected participant as a moderator, we are truly fortunate.

Thanks all. Thanks to Bob Lusk, and crew, for providing such a great place to visit and learn.

i dont participate in any other forums, but i do know when i've found somthing good. i'll throw my thanks in here too, good post cat.

You guys are PB family. It takes all of us , especially the outstanding posting forum members who share their time and efforts with everyone else. That is what makes this place special. Folks , and a lot of them , who truly care.

You've been a very valued addition to the forum community.

Overall, people who own ponds are a good bunch of people. We all have a common goal to take better care of our water resource.

It is a privilege to "moderate" a forum full of folks like you, cat.

B'ski - a question. In your pic there are 3 stooge mods and 3 skulls. There are now 6 mods. Which ones are who ?

hmmmm....this sounds like a classic "Help" category that can only be answered by the smartest pondmeisters in the universe. I know...let's ask 'em.

You guys are all nuts! Hands down, the best forum I've ever seen. Why look any further? Ditto's on the approachable real people moderators and experts. I'm hooked on the forum and the magazine. Thanks to all who give so much to make it possible and so much fun.

Moderating here is easy. I go to several other sites where I wish Mods would step in and do something.

With you folks, we've turned into Maytag Repairmen. At the last Convention, I was meeting old friends for the first time.

The moderators have become my best friends – and as Dave D. says, I know them all in person.
Sunil’s the only one with questionable character since he reneged on the Shiner Bock he owed me at the PB Conference...

George you know the feeling is mutual. Sunil did come by the Mod. booth several times with a sack containing cool ones but you were out giving fly tying instructions.

You guys are the best! There is only one other forum that even competes ....... and it appears once a month in my mailbox from a guy named Hugh. I still think my mailman reads PondBoss more than the other subscription.
