Is it ok to have full-blooded greensunfish as a food source?

Zach,
It's o.k. to have green sunfish in you pond, most established ponds do. I wouldn't want to rely on them as a primary food source for your predators though. Most would advise to go with a proven stocking combination so that you won't be disappointed.

Iwouldn't want green sunfish in my pond due to their agressive munching habits and large mouths.These little devils will compete with your other predatory gamefish. If you were just planning on making a yellow cat pond,it wouldprobably be fine.(I read your other post).P.S. Green sunfish are awesome trotline bait.
