I read somewhere that hydrated lime can decrease the FA in a pond. Is this true? Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on this question of mine? My pond is located in Southwest Michigan and when it starts to warm up I get the FA that slimy stuff on top that floats. Looks nasty. Thank you for any info. Bob
