So sorry folks....I am way late getting all the elements to Jim Stroud for layout and design. Preparation for the conference chewed up lots of time (It was well worth it). But the consequences are a tardy mail date. I'll post to this thread as we progress. Jim has everything except some photos (which we will overnight on cd tomorrow). This is the second time in my tenure we have been late, and it sits squarely on my shoulders.

Bob, no worries.

We are, however, willing to blame Dave Davidson for the delay.

I'm a married man with 3 grown daughters. I'm used to getting blamed for a lot of things.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Bob patience is a virtue which all of the PB crew constantly experiences ! ;\) We are always waiting - on temps , on fish deliveries , on equipment to arrive , on grass to grow , on fish to spawn and grow .. etc.

I know DD1 has it as it is an absolute necessity with 3 girls and grandkids + and a pardner , not to mention rain. \:D

OK Bob so perhaps you haven't been cloned, this however is merely circumstantial evidence and not definitive proof. Perhaps both you AND your clone were out living the Pond Boss rock star lives. If only the government would allow me to take control over a spy satellite so that I could train a camera on you and determine once and for all whether or not you have been cloned. I still believe that you have been cloned because I don't believe it's possible for one person to accomplish as much as you do in a week and go as many places as you go. Unfortunately the government is stingy with their spy satellite time and now after my repeated requests they have a "file" on me. That I don't mind but the dark sedan that follows me around is a little nerve racking.

Anyhoo, the mag will get here sooner or later and when it gets here I'll read it cover to cover as always. No worries from this subscriber.

You know, there were a couple of times in Arlington where I walked passed Bob to get out of the main conference hall and then found him hunched over a laptop out in the hallway working on recreating his lost briefing. At the time I just figured being a Texan he knew a shortcut I hadn't found yet; now I'm wondering...

Just as I had suspected. I knew there was more than one of him. Publishing pond boss, jet setting around the county on consulting trips, building a home, maintaining his own ponds, I knew one Bob couldn't do all of this. So now you gotta ask yourself was it BOB version 1.0 or Bob version 2.0 that you met at PB Convention. You may never know.
