There is a developing story for the Pond Boss conference. We have had several vendors offer up products/services if we have a silent auction. So, late last week we decided to have a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds go to the Jesse West Scholarship Endowment for fisheries students at South Dakota State University. I am officially soliciting donations. If any of you can donate something unique, cool, different...prizes, products, services or anything at all, please let me know as soon as possible. I have asked Dr. Dave Willis and his bride Susie to orchestrate the auction and they have gladly accepted. So, those of you who can't make it, can still participate. If you want to contribute something, please email me as soon as possible at pondboss@texoma.net and we will get it going.

Next, we will be shooting lots of photos, and I bet the moderators can post them as the conference progresses. Plus, I will have time to give you an update as the conference moves on. So, stay tuned here. Between the moderators and I, you will be in the know.

Also, we have hired a videographer to shoot the entire conference, interview attendees, video the vendor booths and edit it into a neat dvd. I don't know when we will get the final product, but these guys are good. I have seen their work.

For those of you coming to the conference, please spend time with your speakers and I. This conference has been structured where the speakers have plenty of time for attending different talks, spending time one on one with attendees, and for all to benefit. Look me up. I want to meet everyone.

Lots of energy building. This thing will be a blast.

Walk up registrants are welcome. So, if any of you decide...come on. Single day attendance is $60. Lunches are limited...we had to give them a number today.
