One positive though... It only does well in large bodies of water and reacts violently to the sound of jet skies. It yanks the drivers off and eats them. \:D

I always knew God answered my prayers but this one was a long time in coming. \:\)

Will it eat fish pellets and take a lure?

Nope only jet skiers. ;\)

This fish and others are the creation of a taxidermist in Florida by the name of Rick Hardy. To see more go to this website:

http://www.fishtaxidermist.com/unique.htm

Note: I'm not promoting, just thought this would be of interest and I sure don't want to take credit as they aren't my creations.

What's your favorite? Mine is the "hogbass" at the bottom of the page.

The one you posted is one of the least creepy of his creations.

The one I find the most disturbing upon extended contemplation is the "Filet Release".

I can see where he got the idea though. If you've ever been down to Florida, and have seen the Charter Boat Captains fillet the fish after the come back, you will recognize it. Usually the pelicans are waiting for the carcass releases minus the fillets though, and of course the fish are dead.
