A helpful few of the P-B posters already know me from the "Selecting A Site" forum, Subject: New Pond Construction Costs". As noted therein, I'm the new kid in town and in the midst of constructing a 5a pond. The more I rip thru all these forums and seemingly endless ideas and input, the more my head spins. I wish I could condense it all into one publication upon which to focus. This being said, are there any trustworthy books or videos that will help me to design a fish-friendly bottom-scape suitable for the midwest?

Brettski,
Ray Scott, the founder of BASS, has produced a series of videos which cover most all the basics of ponds including some very good sequences on structure. I recommend them. Money well spent.

I would bet Mr. Lusk could steer you toward one or two publications.
