Hi every one:
I was wondering what I can spray around my pond to kill the weeds/grass around the edges of my pond. Obviously I do not want to hurt my fish?
any suggestions would be wonderful.
Thanks

For most aquatic emergent plants, those growing above the waterline, aquatic glyphosate will work and safe to fish when used according to herbicide label. We sell touchdown pro and a little goes a long ways.

THANKS
Will both products kill the grass. I want to keep that growth down so I do not have to mow so close to the pond?

Touchdown Pro is one product that qualifies as aquatic labelled glyphoste. It will kill most all plants around the pond edge and is safe if you follow label.

Also keep in mind, when using a glyphosate for aquatic vegetation treatment you need to add a surfactant to the mixture. Surfactants are used for treating plants like water primrose, cattails, etc. Surfactants are wetting agents that allow chemicals to adhear to waxy leaves that most aquatic vegetation have. There are several different surfactants that are EPA registered. Whoever you order your chemicals from should have one.

the good thing Chad is that touchdown has a good surfactant alredy in it. You right though makes a BIG diff even with underwater treatment it seems to help our Reward applications.
