"Basic Pond Management", "Raising Trophy Bass", and "Water Weeds and Algae" for my birthday from my wife! \:D

"Basic Pond Management" is a damn good read - imagine all the basic questions asked here answered by Bob Lusk (with no Theo-retical interference). I am willing to bet that everyone reading this forum would benefit from having a copy. Bob's "Raising Trophy Bass" I have not started yet, but it appears to be more of the same.

"Water Weeds and Algae" is like a Peterson Field Guide to water plants, from a nuisance control perspective. It has lots of illustrations to help you identify what's growing in your pond. If you are curious about what your pond plants are, especially if you think you want to get rid of some that are a nuisance - buy this book.

...first of all: I presume, then, that Happy B-day wishes are in order...?
...secondly: please share the name of the book that YOUR pond boss read that motivated such a generous, loving, "relationship strengthening" gift.

I got her a new Hay Tedder for our anniversary and the books were the reciprocation.

Theo, if you're a working man, keep them in your car/truck. Break away from the job during lunch to a near by water source and read/reread them again and again. It really gets the imagination going, and you have NO chance of retaining the information treating them as a book...they are reference guides \:\)

How much more warm and fuzzy can a man get! You are, indeed, quite the charmer....that is one lucky gal. I hesitate to guess at your Christmas gift exchange for fear it will draw a tear of emotion.
