SOMEONE ONCE TOLD TO DO THIS BUT I WAS AFRAID IT WOULD KILL THE FISH.
WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO JUST PULL MOST OF THEM OUT BY HAND BUT IT IS GETTING HARDER EVERYEAR BECAUSE WE AREN'T THERE BUT 5 OR SO WEEKENDS A YEAR.

Anyone tried "Habitat" on the cattails? I am curious how it works. Up till now my best solution has been about half a dozen local high school kids at 5 bucks an hour plus pizza and cokes. You just have to make sure they stay at it.

I used habitat on cattails and willows last year and it did a very good job . It is not fast but it killed them roots and all. It did not do well on pondweed but then it was not labeled for that and I did not expect it to. It did kill some of the pondweed.
Where you been Pondrookie?
